Armed with a maintenance-free sealed lead-acid battery, it delivers a continuous supply of power in case of a power loss. It corrects low and high voltage conditions and outputs pure sine waves to protect sensitive electronic equipment. Furthermore, you can control and configure the UPS using a computer via a serial port or access it remotely utilizing a network.

APC has equipped this Smart-UPS with an audible alarm that alerts you to events like changing UPS conditions, power outages, and low battery conditions. When power is restored after a power failure, the Smart-UPS features an automatic restart function that will automatically power up and start up connected devices. For prolonging the battery life, an intelligent battery management system regulates the charge voltage to the battery as per its current temperature.
